To start, Project Callsign sent out 5 care packages in the Peterborough area that contained the following; a bottle of wine or whiskey, a sweet treat, a DVD movie, a salty snack, coffee or tea, a relaxing item like a book or crossword book and a board game or puzzle.
Those five frontline workers nominated the next person by filling out a personalized care package checklist. Once that next person received their care package they would nominate someone else and so on and so on.
Members of the community signed up to be a care package donor and waited to be matched with a frontline worker. Once they were matched, they received a list of items to purchase for that specific person.
